Dr. Stephanie Yang is from the greater Los Angeles Area and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego. She spent the next four years in the Bay Area where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry. During her doctorate pursuit, she completed externships at Omni Eye Services in New Jersey, The Veteran Affairs Hospital in Monterey, CA, and The Veteran Affairs Hospital in Casa Grande, AZ.
Dr. Yang is trained in the management of cataracts and ocular infections. She is also experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of primary open-angle glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration.
At River Oaks Family Optometry, Dr. Yang is committed to providing quality eye care and seeking the best possible visual outcome for each patient. She regularly attends seminars and conferences in order to understand the latest optometric research and improve the patient experience.
In her free time, Dr. Yang enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time outdoors with her dog.
